Lithe 101 is our introductory workout that is strongly suggested for all new Lithers. You'll get an introduction to our basic bio-mechanical principles and learn the building blocks of Cardio-Cheer-Sculpting on the mat, at the barre, and using the Higher Power Band System. If you are unable to make a Lithe 101, we recommend scheduling one of our "Lithe Essentials" like Waspie, Twiggy, Higher Power, High Mini, Sculpt, or Skinny Jeans for your first visit.
WHAT YOU NEED:
We recommend fitted pants and a tee or tank top. We barefoot train at Lithe, so don't worry about shoes! Certain workouts require gloves or sweatbands, which we either sell in studio or can suggest retailers. Hydration is necessary during class, and water is available for purchase in the studios.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your first class begins to allow time to fill out our registration waiver and familiarize yourself with the studio. It's helpful to have a few minutes to meet with your instructor prior to class to go over form, alignment, and modifications! For subsequent visits, please keep in mind that we do not allow Lithers to enter class more than 5 minutes after the scheduled start time.
WHO CAN LITHE:
Lithe is accessible to everyone. All of our movements and choreography can be modified to whether you are super fit, out of shape, expecting, or working through an injury. If you have an injury please speak up and let your instructor know before class. Your instructor can help provide you with modifications before, throughout, and after class if you have questions. Remember, if you need a break, take one. The most important thing is to listen to your body!
